Soccer Camp

Last week K and Timo participated in our local soccer camp -- K as a player, Timo as a coach. The first two days it rained, but that did not deter the Swedes at all. The final day, it was nice enough for me to take the camera and the boys out to the field to capture some of K's experiences.

I love this action shot

AJ thought it was fun to ride his bike on the grass.

Taking a break

While K and Timo were occupied with soccer camp, I ran errands (the first day), took the boys to the safari park (the second day), and took the boys on a walk. I tried to help AJ feel like he was doing something special since he really wanted to go to soccer camp as well. Unfortunately for him, they don't have anything for his age group.

Another Soccer Practice

This Tuesday was another day of soccer practice for K. AJ went over with Timo and K to the fields, and I followed shortly after with H in the stroller. It was a lot more fun to watch her this time. She seemed to be moving more, and really enjoying herself.

H liked his Swedish soccer ball.

AJ is really getting good at dribbling the soccer ball. He will be ready when his turn comes for soccer.

Kristen's First Soccer Practice

They finally started soccer for kids K's age. Yesterday was the first practice, and K said that she had fun. The kids don't have games at this age. The coaches just teach them the skills needed for the game. I was feeding AJ and eating dinner myself for the first half of the practice, so I didn't get many good pictures.

More waiting and listening

I hope to get some better pictures in the weeks to come. Seeing her just standing isn't so exciting, I know.
